Yip Yui Kwan

Yip Yiu Kwan is an up-and-coming Hong Kong-based electro musician, until recently more well-known behind the scenes as a local artists’ music producer, and now taking centre stage.

Gifted in beat-maneuvering and sound-sampling, Yip renovates electronic music by creating his one-of-a-kind blend of Canto-house, dubstep and hip hop.

In 2019, he launched his debut EP “Chinese Ecstasy”, a sound bath of East-meet-West cultural sonic euphoria and a perfect showcase of his signature touches, including soundbites of legendary Hong Kong movies featuring the likes of Stephen Chow, Bruce Lee and LMF, mashed together with oriental keyboard loops.
